Faithful Till the End

Joseph Goebbels, had been a seminary student and he was also the author of a novel titled Michael. Later he found a cause and his new religion became National Socialism.

Joseph and Magda and both had love affairs with Jewish partners in their youth. Joseph had considered marriage, but when faced with the prospect of mixed-race children, had decided against it. The fate of Joseph’s former girlfriend and her family is not known.

Adolf Hitler fell in love with a Jewish girl while he was in Vienna, but he never declared himself. The fate of the girl and her family is not known.

Eva Braun had a boyfriend who was a Jewish medical student and her sister worked for a Jewish doctor.

Magda’s mother divorced her first husband Oskar Ritschel and married Richard Friedländer. Magda became Magda Friedländer. She fell in love with Chaim, a Zionist and she became a Gentile Zionist. She wore the Star of David, a gift from Chaim. She considered going to Palestine with him and became an activist for the cause. However, when it was time to leave, she stayed behind.

Herbert Hoover wooed her and proposed – not the president, but his nephew and namesake. However she married industrialist Günther Quant. When that marriage broke up, Joseph Goebbels was next on the list.

According to the National Socialist scientific precepts, an Aryan woman who cohabitated with a Jew became contaminated, but this was not the case vice-versa. Yet it was also forbidden for an Aryan man to have sexual relations with a Jewish woman. Exceptions were made in concentration camps where attractive non-Aryan women were forced to be slaves in bordellos.

Joseph had Magda undergo a series of medical tests to determine whether he had been racially contaminated. (Apparently Goebbels believed his own pseudo-scientific claptrap.) The good news was that results were negative, which was positive for the couple, and they got married.

Arlossoroff went to Palestine and entered politics. In 1933, he travelled to Berlin to negotiate Jewish emigration to Palestine. When he called Magda, she told him that she would not see him and that he should leave the country. He did.

Later that year, while he was walking on a Tel Aviv beach in, he was shot dead by two gunmen.

Magda’s stepfather Richard Frieländer ended up Buchenwald, where he was worked to death,

Her new husband had created a clean slate for his new wife.

Joseph was a good Nazi, but not exactly a good husband. He was habitually unfaithful to Magda, but he was faithful to the Führer till the end. Joseph had a hot affair with Lida Baarova and even considered divorcing Magda in order to marry her, but the Führer intervened and convinced him that he was essential to the cause as exemplary Nazi family man, and that meant remaining with Magda, who was the First Lady of the Reich.

In spite of her husband’s swarthy looks and his wiry small stature and club-foot, she bore him six children that measured up to the Aryan ideal. The one boy and the five girls that he had sired were all beautiful and blonde. Their names began with the letter H in honor their godfather.

Joseph was one of the instigators of the murder of one-and-a-half million children, and as propaganda minister, he was instrumental in “justifying” the treatment of races considered inferior by National Socialism.
When Magda heard about the Nazi’s plans for genocide after the Wannsee Conference, she was shocked, but she was a good National Socialist wife and accepted them.

Things went well for a while, but then they went awry. After the Reich had conquered all of Europe, British tenacity, American might and Russian manpower turned the tide. The combined forces of the UK the USSR and the USA pushed the invincible armies of the Reich all the way back.

Joseph Goebbels was faithful till the end. He and his family were with the Führer in his Berlin Bunker.

Adolf married Eva, and their honeymoon consisted of suicide.

On May 1, 1945, Joseph decided that he and his family would have to follow suit. Magda protested, but she turned out to be a better wife than mother. As far as her spouse was concerned, he proved himself to be a loyal friend to his mentor, but he was a bust as a husband and father.

All six of the children were given poison, the oldest daughter sensed what was happening and didn’t want to swallow it, and her mother shoved it down her throat. Then Magda played solitaire before taking leave. She swallowed poison and her husband shot himself.

Here is the former Zionist’s last statement: “I bore my children for the Third Reich. They were born to live in the Third Reich, and if it ceases to exist, they too should not continue to exist.”

Children don’t choose their parents. It wasn’t the fault of Helga, Holde, Hilde, Heide, Hedda and Helmuth that they had Goebbels as a father. They ended up being victims, just like the million and a half children, whose deaths their father had helped instigate and achieve.

The Way Babs and Bob Were

I wasn’t exactly a fan of Barbra Streisand. I wasn’t one until I recently saw The Way We Were. She’s a Jewish girl who’s an idealistic Lefty. Yes, she wants to change the world and make it livable.
Does that sound familiar?

She falls hook, line and sinker for Robert Redford, who’s a handsome blonde WASP. Bob is ambling through life. He’s a writer who intends to use his trade to enable himself to continue the pleasant life he’s leading. The prestige that comes from being a successful writer will fit in well. But of course Barbra wants him to write “the great American novel” – and follow that up with more of the same.

Barbra, my dear, he’s a casual WASP, he’s not an intense Jew. He wants to have all the good things in life with no sweat and no strain. The sweat and strain are for people like you. And having you as a partner is going to mean sweat and strain for him.

But like all dreamers who fall in love, you want to have your cake and eat it too.

No, Bob is not going to change his spots. But Babs the hunter fells him, and they get hitched.

Of course the marriage is doomed and the doom does not take long to come. But not before Babs is pregnant. Bob hangs around until the birth – at her request. Then he’s off for a life of success in his trade. And that’s it. Being what he is, he can’t miss, and he won’t miss Barbra. Basically Bob gives people what they want, and it’s hard to fail at that.

The break is complete. He doesn’t drop in to see the daughter.

Time goes by.

Then they meet by chance. He’s coming down the Plaza steps on 59th Street with a beautiful blonde at his side. She’s beautiful in the sense of what elegant men want a partner to be. They are a perfect couple.

Barbara is across the street on the Central Park side agitating with women like her to “Ban the Bomb.” They see each other.

He’s the one she loved and still loves. He’s the love of her life, and he always will be. He will be till the day she dies. She has a man at home who’s what she wants a man to be, but Bob is the man who can make her heart beat faster.

Does this all say something about love? Seeing this scene breaks my heart. I have loved in this way. Notice I’m using the past tense, but that’ not accurate.

Why can’t Cupid’s bow hit the mark of those who match us? It’s always the prince or the princess.

Princes are handsome and princesses are beautiful and they’re charming, but charm and superficiality always seem to go hand in hand. It’s the tinsel that fascinates us.

A Multiple Murder*

“The Jews must first prove that they did not engage in ritual murders.”

“The blood of murdered Christians shed by Jewish hands also cries to the skies … like the blessed martyred child Anderl von Rinn.”

In 1619 the legend was concocted
by Dr. Hyppolyt Guarinoni
that a boy named Anderl,
who had died 1462
in the Tyrolean village of Rinn,
could only have been the victim
of a ritualistic slaying
by itinerant Jews.

Thus Guarinoni
brought the Anderl cult to life
and he didn’t have a hard time
convincing the villagers
who began to revere Anderl
as a martyr in their church.

Had Anderl really been slain,
he would have been a victim
like any slain child,
but he was indeed slain
again and again
since his alleged slaying
served as a pretext
for realizing the most evil aims.

The legend of the ritual sacrifice
was nurtured by the murderers
of one and a half million children,
and thanks to their heirs,
it has survived till this day.

 

A Decent Man of the Right Who Is Not Stateless

He prefers someone who genuinely disagrees with him to an opportunist. Prof. Robert Prantner, theologian, expert on religious affairs, legal scholar, political scientist and author, one of the few” upright individuals and not a homeless right-winger” in this country – we can all agree with that. On Tuesday evening, a motley group individuals of various political hues celebrated the birthday of a man who been of secretary of State Treaty-Chancellor Julius Raab and self professed“ Homme à Femmes“ („The existence of beautiful women proves the existence of God!“) In the lounge of Bank Austria on St. Stephan’s Square, he received congratulations for his 70th birthday from (Bishop) Kurt Krenn , „Salzbaron“ (Hannes) Androsch , „Mr. Clean“ Peter Westenthaler, (Mayor) Helmut Zilk , the „iron man “ Conservtaive politician) Andreas Khol , Gertrude Aubauer , Prince Willy Thurn and Taxis, (Newsman), Elmar Oberhauser , and “ Eden Bar“- Godfather Heinz “ Ranger“ Schimanko.

I have a suggestion for the distinguished theologian: If he has concrete historical evidence to confirm the “Anderl von Rinn Ritual Murder Legend,” he should come forward with it. And that also applies the publisher of Dr. Prantner’s article on Anderl, Andreas Mölzer. I would bring the following to the birthday child’s attention:

As most of us know, one-and a half million Jewish children were murdered in cold blood in the abattoirs of the Third Reich by Nazi catchpoles. These murders were National Socialist ritualistic acts, which were performed by assassins who had a Christian upbringing and who were formally members of either the Catholic or Protestant Churches, to a man.
Proof of that can be furnished. Let us say it had been the other way around! The victims had been Christians and the perpetrators had been Jews. How about that!

What if “only” a hundred and fifty thousand Christian children had been murdered! What if the number had “only” been fifteen hundred? Or “only” a hundred and fifty? “Only” fifteen?

May I provide the answer!? There wouldn’t be a temple left standing, or a Jew left breathing on this earth!
It’s up to you Herr Dr. Prantner to provide prove that there have been ritualistic murders committed by Jews!
And very belatedly: Happy Birthday to you! I am sure that there was nary a guest at Prantner’s party who was not aware of his assertions. I hope they all had a good time at the celebration.

Ein fortgesetzter Mord*

1629 behauptete Dr. Hyppolyt Guarinoni,
ein Kind namens Anderl,
gestorben 1462 in Rinn zu Tirol,
sei von durchreisenden Juden
als Opfer dargebracht worden.

Guarinoni hatte leichtes Spiel
mit den Dorfbewohnern.
Sie glaubten ihm
und glaubten ihm gern
und verehrten Anderl
als Märtyrer in ihrer Kirche.

Das angeblich ermordete Kind
wurde fortan immer von neuem
durch die Jahrhunderte ermordet,
weil die Legende ständig
als Vorwand für Mord diente.

Sie wurde von den Mördern von
eineinhalb Millionen
Kindern gepflegt,
und dank ihrer Nachfolger
lebt sie auch heute noch.

 

Behauptungen

Eineinhalb Millionen jüdische Kinder sind in Nazi-Schlachthöfen ermordet worden. Die Täter hatten alle eine christliche Erziehung. Sie waren entweder Mitglieder der katholischer oder der protestantischer Religionsgemeinschaft.

Sagen wir, es sei umgekehrt: die Opfer wären Christen, und die Täter wären Juden gewesen. Was wären die Folgen?  Kein Tempel würde noch stehen, und kein Jude würde noch atmen auf dieser Erde!

Bischof Paulus Rusch hat erklärt: „Die Juden müssen erst beweisen, daß sie keine rituellen Morde begangen haben.“
Also, der Beschuldigte muß seine Unschuld beweisen. Bischof Rusch kann nicht mehr kommentieren, und auch Bischof Kurt Krenn, der die Anderl-Legende 1987 wiederbeleben wollte. Weder die Bischofe noch der Theologe kann diese Frage kommentieren, weil sie nicht mehr unter uns sind.

Ich bin mir sicher, daß es kaum einen Gast auf das Geburtstagsfeier gegeben hat, der nicht über Prantners üble Behauptungen im Bilde war.

 

Ein aufrechter Rechter aber nicht heimatlos…

Ein fairer Gegner seiner Weltanschauung war ihm sein Leben lang lieber denn die Spezies, deren schleimige Fähnchen sich nach dem jeweiligen Wind richten. Nicht zuletzt deshalb ist Prof. Robert Prantner, Theologe, Kirchenexperte, Rechtsgelehrter, Staatswissenschafter und Autor, einer der wenigen „aufrechten und – vor allem – nicht heimatlosen Rechten“ dieses Landes, an dem sich die Geister nicht scheiden … wie Dienstag-abend jene bunte Schar höchst unterschiedlicher „Geister“ bewies, die dem einstigen Sekretär des Staatsvertrag-Kanzlers Julius Raab und bekennenden „Homme à Femmes“ („Der größte Gottesbeweis ist die Existenz schöner Frauen!“) in der Lounge der Bank Austria am Wiener Stephansplatz zu seinem 70er gratulierten. U. a. Kurt Krenn, „Salzbaron“ Hannes Androsch, „Saubermann“ Peter Westenthaler, Helmut Zilk, der „eiserne“ Andreas Khol, Gertrude Aubauer, Prinz Willy Thurn und Taxis, Elmar Oberhauser, sowie“Eden“-Pate Heinz „Ranger“ Schimanko.

The Aftermath and the Aftereffects of Yesteryear

Being in Third-Reich-Austria at an early age,
and then returning to my birthplace 24 years later,
afforded me a unique historical view.

My piece bearing the title
Violence Under the Guise of Art
contains aspects of the Aftermath and Aftereffects
of the Third Reich that have not yet
been brought to the fore.

The present is a key to the past
and vice versa.

The Aftermath and the Aftereffects
exceed being a Shadow and an Echo.

Is Actionism a follow-up
of days gone-by
that have actually
not quite gone by?

Was the Brown Baton passed on?
Did the Actionists grab it
and fill the gap?

Is Actionism the old spirit
in a new garb?
I answer in the affirmative!

Violence has been integrated into the arts
and poses as a protest against violence.

Actionist anti-humanist deeds and declarations
cry out for comparisons.

Comparing today’s diction to yesteryear’s
more than makes the case.

Actionism is not a catharsis for barbarism.
It is a bona-fide ideology and mode of behavior,

Advocates espouse extreme forms of violence
with no holds barred,
and they are providers as well as doers.

Actionist violence borders on crime,
and at times transcends that border.

The dedication to promulgating inhumanity
is unadulterated.

You have to hand it
to the hucksters of the cause.
They lay it on the line.
Their forerunners had inhibitions
about declaring themselves.

Violence Under the Guise of Art
is a money-making operation.

Sado-masochism sells.
Sadism is a bestseller.

The idea of packaging violence as art is brilliant,
and labeling it as anti-fascism
is a stroke of genius.

 

Actionism and Revisionism

Revisionists are those who expound
Brown ideology through a Beige filter.

The fact that the Revisionists
have latched onto attacking Actionism is self-evident!
They are provided with a smoke screen
for their own surreptitious dealings.

The Revisionists do not want to admit
what has inspired Violence Under the Guise of Art,
namely Third-Reich anti-humanism and barbarism.

Revisionists concentrate on excesses of the Left
and soft-pedal the crimes of the Brown past,
as well as those of the contemporary Hard-Right.

The fact that the Revisionists have latched onto this
is self-evident!

By “opposing“ Actionism,
the Revisionists help perpetuate it.

These “rival” factions “complement each other.
They are competitors, rather than adversaries.

No advocate of
Violence Under the Guise of Art
was ever prepared
to discuss these matters.

A demagogue cannot turn a lie into the truth,
nor can he turn the truth into a lie.

Violence Under the Guise of Art
is grist for the Revisionist mill.
What a boon and a blessing for them!

Calling attention to the sado-masochistic
events of the Actionists
provides the Revisionists with a smoke screen
for their own dealings.

A Revisionist is opposed to violence
when it is perpetuated
by those of another political hue.

Actually, the two “rival” factions
“complement” each other.

Actionists and Revisionists are competitors,
rather than adversaries.

Demagogues don’t always lie.
They use the truth
when it serves their purposes.

Demagogues combine lies
with half-truths and the truth.

Sometimes the wrong man
says the right thing
for the wrong cause.

A demagogue cannot turn a lie into the truth,
nor can he turn the truth into a lie.

You can conjure up falsehoods,
but you cannot conjure up facts.

The proponents of
Violence under the Guise of Art
do not engage in a debate,
since they know that they do not have
a polemical leg to stand on.

The powers-that-be approve or accept
the “questionable” goings on
as exotic aberrations in the realm of art.

It is not an easy matter
to defend the indefensible.
(See statements by Mühl and Nitsch,
and their “official” promoters,
as well as courtroom documentations!)

No doubt about it.
Third Reich inhumanity
was the precursor
of today’s Actionist cult in the arts.

As it is, everything is hunky-dory.
The anti-fascists are fighting fascism,
the purveyors and perpetrators
of Violence under the Guise of Art
are enjoying international fame
and you come along
and attempt to gum up the works.
No wonder they do their best
to cancel the critic out.

Die Gegenwart ist ein Schlüssel
zur Vergangenheit –
und auch umgekehrt.

Antifaschismus und Antihumanismus
sind Gegensätze.

Gewalt wurde in die Kunst integriert
und stellt sich als Protest gegen Gewalt dar.

Gewalt und menschliche Erniedrigung
sind durch den Aktionismus ein Bestandteil
der hiesigen antifaschistischen Bewegung geworden.

Bei den Aktionisten
wird Gewalt nicht nur dargestellt,
sondern auch verübt.

Aktionismus grenzt an Kriminalität,
und hie und da wird diese Grenze überschritten.

Aktionismus ist der alte Geist
in einem neuen Gewand.

Gewalt und Kunst zu kombinieren
ist ein Zauberstück.

Sadomasochismus ist ein Renner!
Sadismus ist ein Bestseller!

Die Sache läuft blended.
Die Aktionisten agieren als Antifaschisten
und haben als Künstler interational Annerkennung errungen.
Und du kommst her und versuchst alles zu vermiesen.
Kein Wunder, daß sie den Kritiker ausschalten wollen.

 

Ein „Segen“ für den Revisionismus

Gewalt-Kunst ist ein „Segen“ für die Revisionisten
und Revisionistischer-Gegnerschaft ist ein „Segen“
für die Gewalt-Kunst-Förderer.

Gewalt unter dem Deckmantel der Kunst
ist Wasser auf die revisionistischen Mühlen.

Ein Revisionist ist nicht gegen Gewalt,
er ist nur dagegen, wenn sie
in einem anderen politischen Lager zu Hause ist.

Dadurch, daß die Revisionisten
sich gegen den Aktionismus stellen,
wird es verewigt.

Aktionisten und Revisionisten
sind,nicht Gegner, sondern Konkurenten.

Demagogen lügen nicht immer.
Sie erzählen die Wahrheit,
wenn es ihren Zwecken dient.

Demagogen mischen Lügen und Halbwahrheiten
mit der Wahrheit. Sie verwenden die Wahrheit
wenn es für ihre Zwecken dienbar ist.

Ein Demagoge kann weder eine Lüge
in die Wahrheit verdrehen,
noch kann er die Wahrheit
in eine Lüge verdrehen.

Kein Lügner lügt immer.
Eine kaputte Uhr zeigt die richtige Zeit
zweimal am Tag.

Manchmal sagt der falsche Mann
das Richtige
für die falsche Sache.

Manchmal wird die Lüge
durch eine Wahrhet gedient.

Indem die Revisionisten den Aktionismus anprangern,
helfen sie mit, ihn aufrecht zu erhalten.

Stepping out of line is a movement
my feet can’t seem to avoid making.
I’ve always said that I wanted to have smooth sailing,
but I couldn’t help rocking the boat.
Rocking seems to be in my genes.


Wenn man aus der Reihe tanzt, kann man ins Verderben tanzen.
Ich tanze gern, und manche werden behaupten,
daß mein Tanz ein Tanz der Erfindungen und Unwahrheiten ist,
und daß die Tatsachen, die ich beschreibe,
überhaupt keine Tatsachen sind.
Sollen sie! Ich muß gar nichts erfinden.
Die Geschichte ist mir mit allen Absurditäten geliefert worden.

The first three years of my life in the second district of Vienna were idyllic. I remember going to the Prater with aunts and uncles for rides on the carousel. When Austria was annexed to Nazi Germany in 1938, drastic changes occurred, and the mood mutated to fear and apprehension. The death knell for old Europe and European Jewry rang out.The shtetl and the other Jewish locations would soon be history. They would be doomed forever.

The shtetl would become a location that would only be sung and written about with nostalgia.

Die ersten drei Jahre meines Lebens im zweiten Wiener Gemeindebezirk, der Leopoldstadt, waren idyllisch. Ich erinnere mich an „Pratertage“ mit Eltern, Tanten und Onkeln – und an das Ringelspiel. So verbrachte ich die ersten drei Jahre meines Lebens.

Als Österreich 1938 von Nazi-Deutschland annektiert wurde, hat sich alles verändert. Die Stimmung war trüb und voller Angst. Da war es aus mit dem Prater.

Das war der Todesglockenschlag für das alte Europa und die europäischen Juden.

Das Schtetl und die anderen jüdischen Orte würden bald Geschichte sein – für immer weg. Über das Schtetl wird nur mehr gesungen und geschrieben werden – mit Nostalgie für das Verlorene.

 Fritz

Fritz is a filmmaker in every sense of the word. He carries through from beginning to end. He’s his own director, cameraman, cutter and what-have-you. When he starts out, he knows where he’s going and he gets there by the hard work of doing the best he can. He has the ability, and the ability has to be there to start with, but it takes more than ability to create a work of art. It takes motivation and drive. Fritz knows his craft, and he never uses technique for its own sake or lets it dominate him. He has mastered the technical aspects, and he is always in command. He uses cinematic tricks, but when he uses them they aren’t tricks. He knows how to integrate them, and they always fit. They’re never obtrusive or irritating. Fritz has a natural feeling for composition and he knows that breaking the rules means adhering to rules. Fritz is a magician and not a conjurer. Making the magic entails hard and meticulous work. A conjurer uses sleight of hand. With Fritz, the magic is genuine. Fritz is a small giant.

Fritz ist ein Filmemacher im wahren Sinne des Wortes. Er ist konsequent von Anfang bis zum Ende. Er ist sein eigener Direktor, Kameramann, Cutter und Stab. Wenn er anfängt weiß er, wohin der Weg geht und er kommt dort mit harter Arbeit an. Er gibt immer sein Bestes. Er ist fähig. Fähigkeit ist eine Notwendigkeit, aber Fähigkeit allein reicht nicht. Man braucht Motivation und Ausdauer.Fritz kennt sein Fach, aber er läßt sich nicht von den technischen Aspekten beherrschen. Er verwendet Technik nicht allein für sich. Er verwendet kinomatograhischen Tricks, aber wenn er sie verwendet, sind sie keine Tricks. Er integriert sie und sie sind nicht störend oder irritierend. Sie passen. Fritz hat einen natürlichen Sinn für Komposition und er weiß, daß man die Regeln nur brechen kann, indem man Regeln befolgt. Fritz ist ein Zauberer, nicht ein Hexenmeister. Magie zu machen heißt harte Arbeit. Ein Hexenmeister verwendet Taschenspielertricks. Bei Fritz ist die Magie echt. Fritz ist ein kleiner Riese.
