Voves: Was die „Kronen Zeitung” macht, ist ein Wahnsinn und gefährdet die Demokratie, weil Menschen manipuliert werden … Es muss endlich einen Politiker geben, der sagt: Das halt’ ich nicht mehr aus!

Klaus Höfler: Ihr Parteikollege Bundeskanzler Werner Faymann hält es offenbar sehr gut aus.

Voves: Solche, die sich anbiedern - das ist das Traurigste überhaupt. Ich bin aber sicher nicht von einer Zeitung abhängig. Auch wenn ich deshalb politisch scheitere, kann ich zumindest in den Spiegel schauen und sagen: Super, dass du zur Demokratie und deiner Linie gestanden bist.

Klaus Höfler: Das passt nicht ganz zur Faymann-Linie.

Voves: Das ist mir wurscht.

Voves: What the Kronen-Zeitung does is pure madness and a danger to the democracy because people are manipulated. There must be one politician who finally says, I can’t take any more of this!

Klaus Höfler: Your party colleague Chancellor Werner Faymann seems to be able to take it quite well.

Voves: Currying favor - that’s the saddest thing there is. I’m not dependent on any paper. So if things don’t work out in a political sense, I can at least look in the mirror and say: Okay, you stood your ground: those are the breaks of the game - that’s how democracy works.

Klaus Höfler: That’s not quite the Faymann line.

Voves: I don’t give a damn about that.
