Remarkable People

On the road I have traveled, I have met many remarkable people. First I name my friend and mentor the late Emile Capouya. “Mike” encouraged me over the years and published two of my books in New York.

Glenn Beck Weeds Them Out

Herbert Kuhner
“Social justice and economic justice are code words, the rallying cry of both the Communist Front and the Fascist Front. And if we don’t get off the social justice bandwagon, we are in deep trouble. Social justice is a perversion. I beg you: look for the words ‘social justice’ or ‘economic justice’ on your […]

Before being elected Pope in 2005, it was Cardinal Ratzinger who headed the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, the Vatican department that enforced the rules.
The BBC documentary Sexual Crimes and the Vatican chronicles a 1962 directive from the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. “The document reaffirmed the inviolability of the […]

Austrian Deserters from the Wehrmacht

Herbert Kuhner
Heinz-Christian Strache in Haaretz on March 5th: “The Wehrmacht committed crimes like any other army, and the deserters should be treated like deserters in any other army….Neo-Nazism? It’s just a spirit which “does not really exist.” (1)
Was Austria the victim or the perpetrator in World War II? Or was Austria a combination of both?
It […]

It was set up at the Salzburg Festival as art, but its practicality belies that categorization. And the act depicted is not an innovation; Gunter Brus, the actionist, has been doing precisely that for decades.
A platinum skull studded with diamonds […]
